Creating subpages is a very common practice in the cms. It is very simple, you just need to understand the relationship between pages and subpages. A subpage is any page that is grouped under another page, also known as a parent page. When you look at the main left navigation at sva.edu, you can see the grouping relationship of subpages to parent pages.

Creating a Poster Page

Poster pages are standalone, fully customizable pages that relate to a very specific topic. Poster pages, typically, do not fit into the current hierarchy of the site. They can be used for a variety of different topics, such as newsletters, press resources, and events. Poster pages are also great for temporary pages. Since poster pages are fully independent, they do not fit into the navigation links, so you can choose to create a poster page from practically anywhere on the site.
