Pasting & Formatting from MS Word/Excel

April 4th, 2012
This tutorial shows you how to copy and paste text from a word document and a plain text document. It also shows a convenient way to remove pesky invisible formatting that is often added when copying and pasting.

If you are copying from a Word doc, and you want to keep the formatting, click the Paste from Word button, then paste your content. This keeps the formatting nice and clean.

If you are copying from a Word or Excel doc and you want to strip all formatting, click Paste as Plain Text.

Last, if you already have content in the editor, and you would like to strip it, click remove formatting.
