Use the server to transfer files instead of FTP

without comments

1) In Finder, Go > Connect to Server (cmd + k) and enter vap.sva.edu
2) Connect to VAPWebRoot

3) Navigate to u/<username> and put files in there
4) View files online by going to vap.sva.edu/u/<username> (also useful for when you need to access files for meetings in different offices)

5) Right click on a link to get the url for pasting into email

6) For quicker access, drag your folder on the server to the upper right corner of a Finder window (just before the search bar).  Then just drop files in there and they’ll automatically be transferred to the right place (note: you’ll need to already be connected to VAPWebRoot for this to work).
